Basically, yes. It is fake court. Undergraduate Mock Trial is an activity in which us students prepare a case made by the American Mock Trial Association in preparation for competitions. In the fall, we compete at Invitational tournaments hosted by other universities. In the spring, we compete at Regionals, a tournament led by the American Mock Trial Association, and attempt to move on to further rounds. In recent years, UConn Mock Trial Association has been moving on to the next level of competition: the Open Round Championships. We hope to make it to ORCS again next year, too.
