What do attorneys do?
In this role, members learn Rules of Evidence and Case Law; write Directs, Crosses, and Opening and Closing Statements; practice public speaking; and learn how to argue on their feet during objection battles. It seems like a lot, but we spend time in the beginning of the fall learning the foundation for this role and we help all of our members grow from there. While there are a lot of members who are Attorneys that want to go to law school and do the job irl, there are also many Attorneys who don't want to TOUCH law. We value members who can work with a team, are willing to engage in public speaking, and love to argue.
